Back in August 2010 when I first started blogging, I had a lot to say. Not all of it very important or actually very interesting, but I was younger and dammit I wanted people to listen! Fast forward and I'm older, a father of two and I have started to realise that I don't have that much time on my hands anymore, nor do people really care what I have to say!

So this section is dedicated to my blog archives, where (if you can really be bothered) you'll find the following little hidden gems/crap. Enjoy or ignore, I don't care anymore because I'm old, tired and cynical (bascially I'm my dad... sigh). Here are the details of those blogs...

Lad Lit Blog Reviews

I have read my fair share of books, and although I might review the odd book from time to time, I don't really have time to read (and review) as much as I would like these days. Still, there are a good number of reviews here so fill your boots!

Advice for Indie Authors
I occasionally get asked for advice about publishing and any tips I might have for a fellow indie author. I'm not expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I guess you learn a few tricks along the way. Without sounding like too much of an X Factor contestant, you can read about my journey and what advice I would offer here.

Diary Of A Stand-Up Comedian
I spent 12 months in 2010/11 on the open mic stand-up comedy circuit, and I decided to blog about my experience. It was great fun and I managed over 50 gigs, coming runner-up in the Golden Jester stand-up competition, but after a year I decided to focus on the books (and the day job), but you can check out how I got on with these blog posts. Ramblings of a 30-Something Man
As I said, I was younger back then. I rambled in my 30s. But now I'm in my 40s and my rambles are now more like moans, but the type of moaning where you can't really be arsed to do anything about it, especially sit down at a laptop and blog about it! If I were to blog about one of my moans, it would probably be the one where I moan about what an idiot I was for blogging my rambles in my 30s! Football Fun
Every now and then I keep this one alive. I have to say that my love for the beautiful game has waned over the years, but I still enjoy looking out for the results every weekend to see just how bad my team, Everton, have done that week. This blog was aimed at poking a bit of fun at football, so I came up with the ingenious name 'Football Fun'. Yep, I can tell your impressed. Check them all out here.

Top 10s
I do love a top 10 list and to be fair, this section of my blog is still alive. It's not kept up to date as much as it used to be, but if the mood catches me right, I can still whip out a top 10 list as good as anyone else! I think it's a man thing, we just love to put together a good list. You can find all of my top 10 lists here.

We ALL Saulte You!
This is where I dedicated the odd blog post to people I thought deserved a bit of praise. This was very very tongue in cheek, plus I only ever got around to saluting five people!
